The Pendant is up to you!
Optional Supplies:
ClinkIts!
Polished rocks or stones
Large beads
Instructions:
Making the pendant: This part is totally up to you and your own creativity!. The pendant in the sample at the top is made with black Premo.
1. Take conditioned black Premo polymer clay and roll through a pasta machine at the largest setting. Put the clay sheet on a piece of wax paper.
2. Fold the sheet in half and use a brayer to flatten the two sides together.
3. Press a textured surface into the clay. (Texture sheets, texture rubber stamps, old sneakers, anything with a texture) Make sure to dust the item you are using to create the texture with baby powder to prevent the clay from sticking.
4. Cut desired shape with a craft knife and poke a hole at the top of the pendant with a toothpick. Use your fingers to smooth the edges of the cut shape.
5. Take a small amount of pigment powder (pearl ex or fairy dust) on your finger and gently rub over the textured clay letting the raised part of the texture pick up the powder.
6. Bake the clay as per the directions on the package. When it is cool, brush on a thin coat or two of Future Floor Finish with a small paintbrush, letting each coat dry in between.
7. To make a hanger, make a figure 8 shape out of 20 gauge wire, making the openings big enough to fit into your pendant hole and the other side big enough to move freely over the Clipiola. After you have put on your pendant, close the loop with your pliers so that there are no gaps.

Making the necklace:
1. Cut the satin cord to the desired length.
2. Slip on a coil end crimp so that the loop is facing out. Put the cord through the coil, knot above the loop and bring the knot into the coil so that it sits inside the coil.
3. Take your pliers and crimp the end of the coil so that the knot won't pull through. Trim the excess cording on the loop side of the coil. Repeat on other side.

4. Use your pliers to open the loops at the end of the coils and add the split rings. Close the loop again after you have put on the split ring.
5. The Clipiolas Paper Clip will act as not only the pendant holder but also as the clasp. Attach the split rings to the Clipiola like you would put a key on a keychain. Attach your pendant.

Using a wire wrapped rock. Wrap a rock with 20 gauge wire. use the left over wire to add a bead and make a loop at the top. |

Hey, a ClinkIt! Makes a great pendant. Glue a coil on
the back with a big enough loop at the top to fit over your Clipiola!

Ever have a huge bead you don't know what to do with?
Well here's an idea. Turn it into a pendant! Take copper wire,
make a coil at the end, slip on the bead and make another coil at the
end. The top coil has been wrapped extra to support the weight of
this big glass bead. Here's a close-up:
