What are Clink-its!?: Clink-its! are flat, frosty, colored and embossable glass pieces. You can get them by going to http://www.aliciag.com/

Supplies:

Clink-its!
Embossing Powder - Gold, Silver or Copper
Wire, Pin backs, satin or leather cord
Wire Cutters
Chain Nose, Round Nose Pliers
Two part clear epoxy

Optional Supplies:

Beads

Instructions:

  1. Take your Clink-Its!, etched glass pieces or sea glass.  Wipe the glass with alcohol and let dry.  Stamp image on glass with clear embossing ink or pigment ink. (You can also use an embossing marker to draw designs)
  1. Sprinkle on detail gold embossing powder (or color of your choice), and shake off excess.
  1. Heat with gun until powder is melted.  Let cool.
  1. Brush on a light coating of Future Floor Wax over embossing.  Repeat 3 times, letting each coat dry in between. (Diamond glaze or other acrylic sealer can be used.)
  1. This can be added to cards, or other artwork.  It can also be made into jewelry.
  1. To make a pin, use two-part epoxy and glue a pin back on. Do this in a well ventilated area. Let Epoxy harden as per the directions on the package.
  1. To make a pendant, make a coil out of wire (18 or 20 gauge).  At the top of the coil, make a loop.

  1. Use two part epoxy and glue coil on the back of the glass and let the epoxy cure as per the instructions on the package.  Do this in a well ventilated area. Let Epoxy harden as per the directions on the package. It is now a pendant.  Smaller glass pieces can be used in the same way as earrings.
