Don't want to deal with a
template???
Buy the unmounted sheet of stamps for this doll pattern!
Available at Time To
Stamp!!
Use with paper, shrink plastic and polymer clay!
Supplies:
Cardstock, poster board or other heavy paper
Scissors
Jewelry Pliers
Wire Cutters
22 or 24 gauge wire (any color)
Inks, stamps, colored pencils, markers
Needle Tool or Safety Pin
Optional Supplies:
3-d paint, glitter, beads (Seed beads)
fibers, buttons, acrylic gems
Instructions:
1. Print out a template.
2. Cut out and trace pieces onto thick cardstock or poster board.
3. Cut out pieces. (If you had a face or head stamp, you may
use that in place of the template heads. Just stamp on the
cardstock and cut out.)
4. Color and stamp as desired. Color the back of the doll if
you wish. Heat Set if using pigment inks.
5. Draw face over coloring.
6. Poke Holes at joints with a pin or needle.
7. Using a headpin or a wire with a small coil at the end, add
1 bead, push through the head and neck joint so that the wire
sticks out of the back.
8. Add a bead after the second piece and make a small coil in
the wires.
9. Flatten coil against back of doll. Pinch both coils
together to flatten against doll and tighten joint.
10. Repeat for all joints. (You could also use brads to connect parts.)
11. Embellish with fibers, dimensional paint, acrylic stones,
glitter glue, or whatever you want.
12. Let dry and enjoy!
